Highly engineered lightweight trench covers

Jinmeng trench covers are optional in load ratings ranging from 1.5 to 40 tons to suit most infrastructure requirements and cost-to-quality budgets. Easy to install and remove, safe and available for customization in patterns and logos, colors, sizes, and load class. Jinmeng trench covers are a high-performance product created via sheet moulding composite (SMC) to create a glassfiber resin polymer, (GRP) cover.

Jinmeng GRP composite trench covers offer a durable monolithic solution with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and provide easy access to cables and below-grade utilities. We manufacture corrosion-free trench covers for maximum non-conductive performance and fall hazard mitigation in harsh environments. Capable in work temperarature up to 120 ℃，and available for short-term test temperature 155 ℃.

Composite Trench Cover

Composite trench covers are just 30 percent of the weight of concrete covers and provide unrivalled durability.  Suitable for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The panels resist corrosion caused by chemicals and humidity. Our cable trench covers have a combination of benefits and crack-free mechanical properties exceeding those of concrete trough covers. 

 

Choose Right Trench Cover

GRP trench covers are designed for municipal utilities, substations, construction projects, and industrial facilities. Lightweight to improve access safety and reduce handling risk. Anti-corrosion, to replace metal covers.  The trench covers for cable management differ from road plates, which are for fall prevention and temporary installation.

The selection of the right trench cover is based on the trench structure and its dimensions, span direction, load-bearing capacity, and skid-resistant surfaces. All trench covers will fade and change surface color to grey-white after 6 months in the harshest outdoor environment; color option is not an important factor in cover selection.

The Shortage of Concrete Covers

Concrete covers are not durable enough in residential areas and will crack in trafficable areas. Frequent replacement is costly and generates more public safety issues and complaints.
